Jonni Fogerty, MM, MT-BC
Owner & Director, Neurologic Music Therapist
Jonni is a board certified music therapist and the owner of Fogerty Music Therapy. She completed her master's degree in music therapy from Illinois State University where she also taught courses in early childhood and elementary music education.
Jonni has worked with a variety of populations, including: in-patient child and adult psychiatric patients; children and adults with mild to profound developmental disabilities; visually and hearing impaired individuals; and older adults, including those with neurological and memory impairments. She has also taught in special education and early childhood music programs.
In 2007, Jonni began her private practice, which has now expanded into a music therapy agency in response to the demand for high quality music therapy services in South Central Indiana. Jonni is highly involved in the profession. She currently works on advocacy and government relations through an Indiana Music Therapy Task Force in close collaboration with the American Music Therapy Association and the Certification Board for Music Therapists. In the past she has served on the executive board for Indiana and Wisconsin state associations. A high proponent of continuing education, Jonni has completed trainings in early childhood music and neurologic music therapy. Jonni enjoys working with infants through seniors and with culturally diverse populations. She specializes in treatment techniques for early childhood development, children and adults with developmental disabilities, and older adult populations.
