Who Delivers Music Therapy Services?

Music therapy services are provided by a board certified music therapist (MT-BC) who:

• obtains a baccalaureate or master's degree from a college or university approved by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) as well as accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

• completes a six month clinical internship at an accredited healthcare or education facility.

• passes a national examination for board certification.

• fulfills continuing education requirements to maintain board certification status.
