Who Pays for Music Therapy Services?

Fogerty Music Therapy is an approved Medicaid Waiver Provider (SSW, DD, AU).  In school settings music therapy is considered a related service on the IEP. 

We are also willing to work with families to obtain reimbursement from individual insurance providers.  Obtaining a referral from your primary care physician is required prior to requesting reimbursement from private insurers.  Several families elect to cover therapy services privately.  Therapeutic groups are available as well as specialized music classes offered through the Bloomington Parks and Recreation for individuals seeking exposure to music.
